The workshop is a project started back in 2013 and usually includes world music events, and building classes.

Sunvibes has 5 different streams that explores different genres :

This stream will introduce you our favourite tunes that are often from Africa or India or beyond - this is our space to explore music often deeply rooted in the traditional sounds. You will hear different languages like Zulu, Afrikaans, Hungarian, Hindi, Tamil, Wolof, Spanish, French, Portuguese. Expect styles like desert blues, Mali Blues, reggae, maskandi, mbalax, Hungarian folk tunes, South African jazz, and much much more.

This stream is dedicated to the sounds of Africa - tunes from the West, East, and lots from Southern Africa too - like Tuku music from Zimbabwe, South African choir tradition, zulu guitar.

This stream is there for anyone that need some time to meditate or do some yoga, tai chi or just take a break and slow down, drink a cup of tea and enjoy.
South African jazz originates from the townships of South Africa - a very unique style of jazz - tune in to listen to some of the tunes by Hugh Masekela, Jimmy Dludlu, Sipho Gumede, Miriam Makeba, and many others.

Amapiano, a South African music genre taken from the Zulu word for "pianos", is a subgenre of kwaito and house music that emerged in South Africa in the mid-2010s. It is a hybrid of deep house, gqom, jazz, soul and lounge music characterized by synths and wide, percussive basslines.
